A special cleaning drive covering 30 locations was launched today, 8th November, to improve sanitation across the city of Colombo.Under the initiative, the Colombo Municipal Council is clearing canals, drainage systems, and other public spaces.Mayor of Colombo Vraie Cally Balthazaar also joined the field operations, according to our reporter.The operation was initiated after several areas in Colombo experienced severe waterlogging following the recent heavy rainfall.
